This body of work is a photo documentary essay about the town, Bombay Beach, California. It is a small town with a constantly shrinking population, that is currently less than 200 residents, out in the middle of the desert. Located on the east shore of the Salton Sea, it is known as one of the lowest socio-economic communities in America. I spent time in the desert and became a part of the community to create a story through my photography depicting how the people live there.
All of the images included in this project are shot on 35mm to large format film.
